About this course

Texas licensees with supervisor status must complete 6 hours of continuing education in supervision each renewal period (22 TAC 681.140(b)(1) for LPC-S, 801.261(b)(1) for LMFT-S, and 781.501(b)(1) for LCSW-S). This course is written for that requirement. It covers the Texas renewal and CE Broker rules, onboarding and supervision agreements, goals, feedback and written remediation plans, the supervisory alliance and Council limits on dual relationships, Texas reporting and confidentiality law in supervision, culture, setting and telehealth, supervision models, supervision records, and planning your supervision CE.

This is renewal CE for current supervisors. It is not the 40-hour supervisor training required to apply for supervisor status.

CE credit is awarded after you complete the reading, pass the post-test at 70% or higher, and complete the evaluation.

Learning objectives
