Washington Associates: Your Yearly 16 CE Hours
For LMHCA, LMFTA, LSWAA, and LSWAIC. You need 16 CE hours every year to renew. Some of them must cover these topics:
- Ethics and law: 6 hours every 2 years. Washington Ethics and Law: 6 CE Hours ($19).
- Roles and boundaries: 2 hours, separate from ethics and law. Washington Professional Boundaries: 2 CE Hours ($9).
- Health equity: 2 hours every 4 years. Cultural Competency and Health Equity in Clinical Practice (4 hours). I’ve checked that this course meets Washington’s health equity requirement (WAC 246-12-820/830).
- Suicide training (LSWAA and LSWAIC only): 6 hours from the Department of Health model list, before your first renewal. This training must come from a provider on the Washington DOH model list. I don’t offer it yet. Coming soon
